I am a Mechanical-Product Design Engineer excited about developing physical products that can have a positive social/economic impact within communities and to people's everyday lives, particularly for users in developing countries or resource-constrained environments.
I am currently a Mechanical Engineer at Zipline, developing autonomous UAVs to enable rapid medical supply delivery. Previously, I worked in consumer electronics at Google Nest and was a graduate of Stanford University (M.S. Mechanical Engineering '17, B.S. Bio-Mechanical Engineering '14), where I specialized in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, and Mechanical Design.
I love working cross-functionally and collaborating with hardware and design teams, vendors, and manufacturers to turn ideas into a physical reality, and enjoy the challenge of designing within tight constraints, whether size, mass, cost, cosmetic, etc...
Outside of work, I love figure drawing, film photography, and traveling the world (from Uganda to Bhutan and more!). I am also a classically trained pianist and cellist. I'm always up for listening to new music!
